"Summit at Sunrise", 6x6"
This painting is inspired by a photograph and memory of my good friend, Kaitlyn, while she was hiking Mount Sonder in Australia. The photo that inspired this painting (view in the slide show on the left) was taken by Kaitlyn while she was enjoying the summit at sunrise. She said she loved the way the sun casted a shadow of the mountain — I was completely in love with this photo and love the idea of sleeping overnight on a mountain just to take in a view like this.
