"Cape of Good Hope", 6x6"
This painting is inspired by a photograph and memory of travelling to the “Cape of Good Hope” in South Africa (see the photograph that inspired this painting in the slide show to the left). I remember this day so clearly. I travelled with a small group to explore the Cape Peninsula— it was a beautiful, clear day, but it was extremely windy! I guess thats what happens when you climb to high heights where the ocean meets the land.
